Admission Process & FAQ’s

Thank you for your interest in seeking admission for your child in SWS for the Academic Session, 2024-25. We look forward to having you join the SWS family!

  1. If a parent wants to admit their child in small Wonders School, the parent needs to visit the school and fill in the enquiry slip.
  2. Once the enquiry slip is filled, the Admission coordinator will brief the parents regarding the procedure for the admission, followed by a round of the school.
  3. The visiting hours are 8:00 am – 2:00 pm, Monday to Saturday.
  4. Parents interested in admission can procure the Admission Form from the school. The Admission Coordinator shall provide the parent with the date of submission of the Form along with the required documents.
  5. The Form has to be submitted in the school on the given date and the fee has to be deposited along with the admission form on the same day.
  6. The fee structure of the school is available on the school website also.
  7. Parent has three options to deposit the fee:
  • Schoolpad Application.
  • Directly deposit the fee in the bank.
  • Deposit through Online transfer or through net banking into the school account directly.

1What is the entry level?
The entry-level is the Play Class. Ideally, the child should have completed two years of age, on or before the 1st April of the academic session, to be eligible for the entry-level.
2What is the class hierarchy as per age?
  • Play Class (2+ years)

  • LKG (4+ years)
  • UKG (5+ years)
3Does the school provide support for the students with special needs and learning disabilities?
The school has a dedicated, in-house Counselor to look after Children with Special Needs (CWSNs) and provide them with just the right kind of care and support that they individually require.
4What are the visiting hours of the school?
You are welcome to visit the school on any of the working days (Monday to Friday) between 08:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. You will be taken for a tour of the school and provided with first-hand information about its infrastructure and facilities.
5Does the school provide transport services?
The school has a fleet of buses that caters to the transport needs of our students, covering Mohali, Chandigarh and Kharar. There is a female attendant assigned for each bus to ensure the safety and well-being of our students en route. Furthermore, all the buses are equipped with a GPS tracking device, which allows the parents to conveniently locate and track the buses in real time. The buses are CCTV monitored.
6Does the school provide a Day Care Facility?
small Wonders School provides a warm, safe and conducive environment to its students who enroll for the day-care service. After a fulfilling day at school, the children are looked after with great care and affection in the day-care. The educator and the attendant ensure that the students are well-fed and rested and engage in appropriate physical activities during the after-school hours. The concerned educator also caters to the students’ academic needs.

The school follows a five-day working system, from Monday to Friday.

3Does the school provide first-aid/healthcare services to its students?
We have a qualified doctor on call, and the school staff is well-trained to look after any first-aid needs of the students. General dental, eye and health-checkups are also conducted periodically in the school campus to ensure the well being of our students.
4How safe are the students inside the school premises?
We at small Wonders are extremely careful and proactive when it comes to ensuring the safety and well being of our students. Strict guidelines have been laid down and are adhered to by each staff member. The parents are sensitized about the importance of ID cards, and the need for immediately getting the details updated, if required.

Our campus is monitored under 24X7 CCTV surveillance, to keep a track of everyone’s movements. The guards at the gates are vigilant and ensure that there is no security lapse at the entry and exit points of the school.
5How can I get access to the performance and achievements of my child?
Parents are provided with a Login ID and password to the SchoolPad App, which allows them to conveniently gain access to their child’s performance and achievements. Our comprehensive and interactive school website also provides student-centric information to the parents.
6What kind of sports activities does the school provide?
In their early years, the focus is on developing the Gross Motor Skills of the students, which is accomplished through our Kid-Fit sessions. By using child-friendly equipment, these sessions help the students enhance their basic sports/athletic skills such as dribbling, kicking, controlling, catching etc, which, in later years, come in handy for various formal sports. We also provide a platform to our students where they are made to believe in their capabilities and in themselves through our Annual Sporyts Day – ‘Sports Wonders’ with the underlying motto – ‘We are all WINNERS.’

Withdrawal

For the Withdrawal of a student from the school, at least a calendar month's notice must be given in writing. Transfer certificate should be applied for in writing.
