Trips & Excursions

“Nothing beats exciting hands-on experience to deepen learning. The magic of a field trip isn’t just the subject. It’s the break in routine and adventure that opens up children’s minds to new things.”

Regular excursions and educational trips ensure optimal exposure for the students. These trips are well planned and meticulously supervised so that each excursion is safe, informative and fun filled for the young scholars.

Visit to Library

Books open your mind and broadens your horizon. Reading is dreaming with open eyes. So much to see, So much to do @your library I might be too small to read but I Can picture read. Imagination is more important than knowledge. The world is but a canvas to the imagination.”

Visit to Church

The festival of Christmas was celebrated with gaiety by small Wonders School. The little ones were taken to the church were they sang carols like “Jingle Bells” and “We wish you a merry Christmas” etc.

Visit to Fire-station

Every society has some form of division of labour. Occupations are diverse. Seeing is believing- Students are taken around and told about various people who help us.

Fire drills.
Stop, drop and roll.
Fire fighters and fire suits.
Last but not the least 101 facility.

Thank you dear school for taking us to fire station and for dropping a greater security into our knowledge which is an exquisite gratification for our proud parents that we are into safer hands. Proud to be small wonderites!

Visit to Baskin Robins

Ice cream in a bowl,
Ice cream in a cone,
Ice cream any way I want,
As long as its my own.
Ice cream can be sticky,
Ice cream can be sweet,
Ice cream is delicious,
Its my very favourite treat!

Indeed an ice cream always makes a smile, right? A visit to an amazing ice cream parlour, Baskin Robins that brings scoops of smiles to the world made our September more sweeter. Colourful creamy goodness of yummy ice cream made our little tummies more excited and joyful.

Spiritual Quest

The children were given firsthand experience through Temple and Gurudwara visits. This exposure equips them to face the real life situations and these experiences become an unforgettable memory!!!

Old Age Home

We believe in giving the first hand experiences to the learners and as a part the school’s initiative to sensitize the little ones towards the senior citizens, the students of LKG visited the Old Age Home in Sector 43, where they spent quality time with the inmates.

A Visit to the Supermarket

Learning in an entertaining way need not be expensive or confined to a certain tine or a specific place.

I venture out and learn.......

Childhood is the most dynamic phase of children’s lives, a time to explore and discover everything around. The inquisitive learners of small Wonders excitedly visited the Supermarket. Their curious minds observed the displayed items.

Now I can relate to what I learnt in the class- like counting five red boxes, identifying different shapes etc.

The proper use of science is not to conquer nature but to live in it.

If trees could scream, would we be so cavalier about cutting them down.

A person who cares about the earth will resonate with its purity.

Earth day in a very uniqueway. A Go-Green Rally was taken to Phase 7 & 3B-2 market by LKG students. Students distributed paper bags with the message “Say no to polythene”

In sink with nature a tree plantation drive was held with students activily participating. Students were taught how to plant saplings and nuture them with love and care.

Keep standing for the love of green!
Go Green for a better Life
A Green Planet Is Actually A Clean Planet
Let’s give our children a green future!

Natural Trail

Children's Day Picnic

Picnic- A day full of fun and entertainment.

“I’m enjoying my childhood, I want to explore and discover everything around me........” What’s a better way to do that?

Board the bus with friends, ma’am and didi and off we go for the Picnic.

Enjoying snacks in the lap of nature with fluttering butterflies and cool breeze all around.

Post Office Visit

Excursions are means of educating ourselves on how certain things work and how we rely on certain services. Small wonderites were taken around to see how letters are collected, segregated, stamped and then stored in pigeon holes for the postmen to collect. It was altogether a great learning experience especially in these times of email and whatsapp! It was delightful to see the excitement on the children’s faces.
